بازی The Wolf Among Us جدیدترین پروژه استودیوی Telltale Games می باشد که بر اساس کتاب های کمیک Fables به نویسندگی Bill Willingham ساخته شده است. تمام شخصیت های بازی واقعی هستند اما در دنیاهای متفاوتی زندگی می کنند. زمانی که شیطانی به نام The Adversary تمام این دنیاها را تهدید می کند، شخصیت های بازی در دنیایی گرفتار می شوند که تاکنون آن را مشاهده نکرده بودند و آنجا دنیای ما است، شخصیت های بازی با تمام قدرتی که دارند، در میان مردم زندگی می کنند و امیدوارند که راز آن ها هیچگاه برملا نشود. آن ها دارای نیمه تاریکی هستند که داستان روی آن نیز مانور خاصی می دهد.
داستان TWAU را باید مدل تغییر یافته داستان هایی مانند سفید برفی، جک غول کش و... دانست. اتفاقات TWAU قبل از ماجراهای کمیک رخ می دهند و در زمانی هستند که ایچابود کرین (Ichabod Crane) به عنوان شهردار فعالیت می کرد. بازیکنان نیز در نقش بیگبی ولف (Bigby Wolf) که کلانتر Fabletown است، قرار می گیرند که به نام Big Bad Wolf نیز شناخته می شود. او در این بازی روی پرونده یک قتل مرموز کار می کند.
The Wolf Among Us is a five episode series based on the award-winning comic book series Fables (DC Comics/Vertigo.) This is an often violent, mature and hard-boiled thriller where the characters and creatures of myth, lore and legend are real and exist in our world.
As Bigby Wolf — THE big bad wolf in human form — you will discover that the brutal, bloody murder of a Fable is just a taste of things to come, in a game series where your every decision can have enormous consequences.
As well as a wealth of other new features, including advanced trading mechanics, technology, scientific research trees and island exploration, Tropico 5 will add cooperative and competitive multiplayer for up to four players for the first time in the series’ history! Viva El Presidente!
