نرم افزار ZWCAD Mechanical ابزاری را جهت ایجاد طرح های دو بعدی مکانیکی برای تولید انبوه فراهم می کند، ابزاری مانند: شافت ژنراتور، بالن و بوم و تعداد زیادی از قطعات استاندارد. ZWCAD Mechanical را به نوعی می توان ابزاری پیشرفته و دو بعدی برای طراحی قطعات ساده مکانیکی برای ساخت و تولید انبوه به حساب آورد.در این نرم افزار بازبینی و تغییر تنها با یک کلیک امکان پذیر است که با این قابلیت شما می توانید بر روی طرح های با ارزش وقت بگذارید تا اینکه ساعت ها دوباره کاری کرده و طرح های تکراری ایجاد کنید. این نرم افزار قادر به خواندن و ایجاد فایل هایی با فرمت DWG ،DXF ،DWF می باشد که امکان کار بر روی طرح در سایر محیط های نرم افزاری CAD را فراهم می کند و تنها ابعادی از طرح را کنترل می کند و گسترش می دهد که ارزشمند بوده و حاوی اطلاعات مفید است و همچنین قادر است تا فاصله ی بین ابزارها را تنظیم نموده و آن ها را به صورت گروهی و هماهنگ دسته بندی کند. از دیگر امکانات این نرم افزار می توان به داشتن ابزارها و اصطلاحات رایج در طراحی مکانیکی اشاره کرد که امر طراحی را بسیار آسان می کند از جمله علامت جوش، مرکز سوراخ، سطح بافت نمادها. ساخت بوم ها بسیار راحت و سریع بوده و هر تغییر در بالون ها در بوم ها نیز ایجاد می شود. در این نرم افزار محیط های طراحی ISO ،ANSI ،DIN ،JISو GB نیز فراهم شده است و تمامی ورودی های مکانیکی مانند حاشیه ها، بعدها و نمادها به صورت هوشمند در لایه مناسب قرار می گیرد که البته شما می توانید در پنل مدیریت آن ها را مدیریت کنید و با حاشیه های چند گانه با سایز های مختلف کار کنید. در کتابخانه این برنامه شما به ابزارهایی مانند پیچ، میخ، واشر، پین، پرچ و ... دسترسی دارید که ساعت ها در وقت شما صرفه جویی می کند. همچنین می توانید اطلاعات بوم را به صورت اکسل ذخیره کنید و با استفاده از فضای ابری بر روی سایر ابزارها مانند موبایل نیز به طراحی بپردازید.
