Jim is having trouble with his house guest.
Emily:Are things still going badly with your house guest?
Jim:It"s getting worse. Now he is eating me out of house and home. I have tried talking to him but it all goes in one ear and out the other. He makes himself at home which is fine. But what really gets meis that yesterday he walked into the living room in the raw and I had company over! That was the last straw.
Emily:Jim, I really think you are beating around the bush with this guy. I know he used to be your best friend in college, but I really think it is time to lay down the law.
Jim: you are right. Everything is probably going to come to a head tonight. I"ll keep you posted.

Emily:Are things still going badly with your house guest?
Jim:It"s getting worse. Now he is eating everything in my house. I have tried talking to him but he does not listen. He makes himself as comfortable as if he were in his own home which is fine. But what really annoys meis that yesterday he walked into the living room completely naked and I had company over! That was all I could tolerate.
Emily:Jim, I really think you are being indirect with this guy. I know he used to be your best friend in college, but I really think it is time to impose strict rules.
Jim: you are right. Everything is probably going to reach the critical point tonight. I"ll keep you informed.
Chocolate: A Health Food?
Chocolate: A Health Food?
You may have heard of a recent study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition where researchers found that chocolate may actually be good for you! While they didn"t go so far as to recommend chocolate as a health food, moderate amounts of chocolate as part of an overall balanced diet may help protect your heart, they say. Why? Chocolate — especially the dark kind — contains flavonoids, the same heart-friendly substances also found in tea and red wine. It also contains sterols, B vitamins, magnesium, copper, potassium, and other heart-healthy substances. Food companies have jumped on the marketing bandwagon, producing chocolate "health food" bars. But watch out, experts say! At 135 to 150 calories per ounce, chocolate — even the fat-free variety — adds up quickly! Eating too many "empty" chocolate calories in place of healthier foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein could offset any potential health gains. So don"t start stocking up on chocolate! In fact, why not get your flavonoids from a decaffeinated tea, instead? At zero calories and zero fat — plus a delicious taste — it"s one of the best heart-health foods around
